3 Dimensions of Personal Development
Humans are made of three (3) dimensions, spiritual, physical and mental. These three traits or characteristics must all work together in balance in order to be the best you can be.
- 1Spiritual: Spiritual growth is very important for growing and developing. While it may include growth in belief in God or a deity, the essence of spiritual growth is its an inner process of removing obsolete ideas and habits, wrong concepts, and erroneous beliefs and ideas about life. It is a process of widening the horizons of your consciousness, and understanding some inner truths.
- 3Physical: Eat a healthy, balanced diet with lots of vegetables and fruit. Keep your immunizations up-to-date. Don't use tobacco, stay away from illegal drug use, exercise as often as you can, and be aware of your emotions and moods. Get enough sleep wear proper protection at home, work, or play.
- 4Mental: Get plenty of sleep. Adults should get as close to 8 hours of sleep per night as they can. Although every individual's body differs sleep is essential for learning and productivity

Personal development consists of activities that develop a person's capabilities and potential, build human capital, facilitate employability, and enhance quality of life and the realization of dreams and aspirations. Personal development may take place over the course of an individual's entire lifespan and is not limited to one stage of a person's life.

A Bit of History About Me
I was born on a cold wintry night in November in a little shanty shack in the country fields of the State of Texas. I am one of eight children raised by a mother with a sixth grade education.
We were "dirt poor" and without much of a future based on the circumstances we lived in.
However, my siblings and I were fortunate. My mother, while not well educated, was extremely smart. She knew the importance of an education and she determined that she would do whatever was necessary to make sure her children did not lack for food and would have an educational opportunity.
She was a domestic worker and washed windows, scrubbed floors and took whatever jobs came her way.
At the age of 5 my father walked away from us and never came back. Mom was alone and struggled to keep us all together and comfortable. She did a great job because I grew up never realizing how poor I was because she sheltered us as best she could.
One of the best things that happened to me is a mother who absolutely would not allow any of her children to give up. The word "can't" just wasn't allowed. That was the driving force that kept me going as well as her strength and leadership.

Helping small businesses to find and acquire sales opportunities is one of our main goals.
